Walking with the Club

Today our coach took us to Walkerburn, in the Borders area, where after a coffee/tea and scone at the local cafe, we started our seven mile walk up to  the ruin of Priesthope, then up through forest to the Settlement from where we turned downhill towards Innerleithen.  My picture is taken of three of our walkers on the old bridge as we entered the town of Innerleithen.  We had a great social hour in the gardens of the Traquair Arms, before heading home.

The weather was warm and sunny at times, but with a fair amount of cloud too, which saved us from being too burnt.
