Hopping About

Very busy Saturday. Started with house work and then we went over to a friend's house to help them connect their TV to a DVD player they had picked up off the local freecycle network. While we were over there I photographed some of their flowers - there garden is about a week ahead of ours. While we were there we had a look at their pond (a small plastic bowl) and I photographed these two frogs (Rana temporaria).

After getting their TV and DVD talking we went into town to get some electrical parts for a glow worm lure, some more ginger (for jam) and some bits and bobs -nice pear cider in particular.

With our provisions we went back to our friends to solder the green LED to the resistor, wire and battery clip, so we now have a fully functioning green LED glow worm lure.

Then it was back home for pizza and the detective show on BBC Four. After that, just when normal people go to bed, we then went to the local church yard with camera and glow worm lure. By fluke of timing the best picture was just after midnight so it's the next blip and this frog blip takes pride of place for today (which has been back blipped).
