The "Drum"

This is Drumchapel, one of the three Glasgow housing estates built in the 1950's to make life better for slum-dwelling Glaswegians. The other two estates were Castlemilk and Easterhouse.

I'm unsure whether the estates were a big success or not. Like everywhere I guess, there will be the good and the bad represented over the years.
