From Isle of Easdale across to Ellenabeich.
Wandered down to the shop and little museum, then made a booking at the Oyster Bar for dinner that night.
We took the little ferry across to Easdale, to walk around the Isle. To get the ferry to come and get us, we had to use the klaxon, or if at night time, you would turn on a light. The ferry is about 4 metres long, with an outboard motor and two crew men, but only cost £1.90 per person.
Huge holes everywhere from where the slate had been excavated back in the 1800's. Primroses in full flower, as well as some voilets. Made a booking for dinner at the Puffer Bar for following night.
That evening I found that I had not changed the time correctly on my camera when I changed the date on my arrival in the UK, so it was changing over to the next day, at what was midday!!
Great meal, and rather a lot of Drambuie's as we relaxed after our dinner.
