National Museum of Scotland.

We found a little Italian cafe not far away from our hotel, on our way to the National Museum of Scotland, so stopped off for breakfast. Got sidetracked into one of the bookshops & finally made it to the Museuma bit before midday. Half a day here wasn't enough time to see everything, but well worth it.
We had dinner on our way back to the hotel, and added another layer of warm clothes before going off to do the "City of the Dead" tour. We were told by several people that this was the best one to do. It was another on Leanne's "Must Do" list. I lucked out, as the Surgeons Museum was closed for renovation, as this was another one on her list and I hadn't been that keen to go to this. I was going to go and have a look at something else by myself. Maybe browse the shops, as that is something that I don't often get time for when I go to our local town.
