TinyTuesday5 Five finger tree flowers
Tiny flowers form in clumps on the five finger tree. It is a New Zealand native, fast growing and widespread. There are male and female trees. The flowers have a very concentrated nectar, and because they flower in winter are very important to nectar feeding native birds like tui and bellbird. Bellbird pic in extras.
