A funny old day with an unexpected trip to Kendal hospital. Nothing to do with the sign and not a broken toe after all ( not my toe!)

Found Booths supermarket in the town on the second circuit of the shops - I knew exactly where it was all the time :-)

An afternoon of birding including Spotted flycatcher, Treecreeper, Swallows, Swifts and lovely male Redstart feeding its youngsters. Later a low flying Buzzard and the swallows mobbing a Sparrowhawk.
