Ridolfia 'Goldspray'
Spent the day with my lovely and hardworking family cutting the holly hedge and piling up the offcuts ready for burning. It was a hot summery day and quite draining to work in. We had lots of water and sun cream on hand. Our neighbours had arranged for the horses to spend the day in another paddock and we set to work: three lopping and throwing over into the garden and two of us collecting and piling up the debris. We gave up at five having almost completed it and enjoyed a meal together. CH and I will finish the job tomorrow morning.
We're all drained and exhausted but have enjoyed the day and the achievement.
The Ridolfia is a half hardy annual grown from seed which looks like dill and is a great companion plant.
