Reading today
The funny thing about getting to the end of this book was finding the author's Twitter handle, which seems to be part of the whole 'being an author' requirement now. So, I did what was expected of me, and sent a Tweet, which he replied to politely, thanking me for reading his book. I was a little critical, as this book gave the impression that it would be funny and I found it really sad. The characters had all been at University together and the book intertwined their present day lives with that of their 10-years before University selves. They were all so tragically underperforming their young potential. It certainly gave me cause for reflection, but not too many laughs.
