The Nurse

Nacho lives in Valencia where he is currently working as a nurse on A & E. He also volunteers for "Medicos del Monde/ Doctors of the World". In Valencia this involves working with people who are homeless and who are prostitutes. He has also worked for two three month periods in Sierra Leone this year, with patients who have Ebola. In his first period he was the co-ordinator for an assessment centre in the forest region of the north of the country, and in the second he worked in a hospital. He is planning a further visit to help survivors resettle in their communities. They often face rejection and isolation when they return to their village.
