Monday is washing day, at least it was when I was a child, mum always did the washing on a Monday.  She was a creature of habit, and you always knew what was for dinner according to what the day of the week was.  

Whilst not a laundry quote exactly, I do like the following quote by Pablo Picasso:

'The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.'

It certainly works for me with photography!
