Formalities

Today, we had the rare occasion to need the town centre for shopping, banking and a visit to the Opticians.

As the weather was so fine and the children had behaved themselves so well, we agreed that a picnic lunch in the park and in the shadow of the castle, followed by a play on the swings, slides and climbing frames should be enjoyed.

In the lower castle park, a food festival was being held, but for some reason unknown, the idea didn't appeal to Beloved.
