The unexpected nature
The second day of the awkward weather for the summer. Only 15 degrees, between downpours and the drizzle. Instead of having a wonderful weekend at the lake, I was taking taking a nap. I thought that nothing interesting will happen, but the juvenile birds have provided many impressions. The light conditions were dreadful but there is result of the visits to the birdfeeder from the period of spring by Brown-headed Cowbird. Big in size juvenile Brown-headed Cowbird's is raised with love by the tiny Chipping Sparrow. I have noticed two other juveniles of Brown-headed Cowbird but more independent so I am sure those are also raised by the same foster mother. On the roof I noticed soaking in the rain American Goldfinch's juvenile. Cutie isn't it :-)
