The Menfolk
A group photo of most of the menfolk in Bill's family. We are missing Jeff, Tom's youngest. Hopefully in a year or so, he and his girlfriend will move back home from New Orleans. Matt, Tom, Dave and Bill. Matt is on vacation from his home in Okinawa. Tom is celebrating his 75th birthday, which was yesterday, and today is Matt's birthday. Then our son and Bill, whose birthday was last week. Tom's wife's birthday was 3 days ago, their anniversary is the day between his and her birthday and then, my aunt's birthday and a whole bunch more people in Linda's (his wife) family had June birthdays! Whew. They had a cute cake and then 3 large chocolate chip cookies with ALL the names of ALL the June birthday celebrants. By the time we got there, guests had nibbled on one cookie and all that was left of my aunt's name was Jo. I imagine the 'an' was delicious.
Tom is a "car guy" and his car buddies were there with their beautiful cars. If you hop on over to my Flickr photostream you can see a bit of the celebration, the fun cars and then if you continue looking, a bit of today's sunset, a frog in our fountain and then the Garden Railroad setups that we saw last weekend. That was from 4 different back yards. And in looking them over, I see that they got terribly mixed up and out of order. Sorry about that.
A hot and sticky day, but it gradually got cooler and better and better as the day came to an end, with fantastic clouds and such a pretty sunset. It's a shame I had to take those photos from a moving car. One does what one can.
Okay...that's it for now. My loading of these photos was so much better than yesterday's fiasco. I just stuck with Photo and not Picasa...so maybe that was the difference.
Thanks for visiting.
