Hallo Tony TigerBear here........
These are mom's things from this morning. She got up early this morning to "do" a 5k. It's called the color run.
It was not a nice morning. It rained. Mom came home soaked. Truly soaked.
You see after the race, she was going to call daddy to pick her up. Since all the roads were closed, she thought she would just keep walking away from the light house and call daddy.......who didn't answer the phone. In the pouring rain she added another 5 miles or so to the race because............dad never picked up the phone. After a while.....a long while....approximately 2 hours........she called her friend Sue ( they have adventures a lot) . Daddy eventually called her and said he didn't hear his phone. Mom suggested a few ways that he would hear the phone next time however they sounded painful. I hate it when the vet puts a thermometer up there. A phone would make me growl.
Anyway, mom came home soaked. Really soaked and kind of growly......
Right now she is lying in bed and very sore.
See what she left on my house? Seriously on my house! Not bad enough that Mia sits up there. Now she puts this stuff on it!
The medal is from the 5k. Papa said it looks like mom's picture on Facebook. ( yay gay marriage pictures) .
Some things I learned today......
1) never underestimate the power of a hungry woman.
2) especially a pissed off hungry woman.
3) if mom had a tail, it would have moved very fast this afternoon,
4) if you have a choice between running a race in the pouring rain or sleeping.......pick sleeping.
5) the bed always wins.
6) peeling wet clothing off of the body appears to cause physical pain.
7) what is it with the clothes?
You all need to grow fur.
8) mom made noise in the shower. I kept scratching at the door but she didn't hear me.
9) she said it was the best shower ever.
10) what is it with you people and water?
11) I would have made some noise too.
12) nope mom did not make dinner ( and probably won't anytime soon.)
13) miracles do happen
14) she let him live.
