Misplaced luxury?

A small part of the reception area for the medical centre I spent most of the day in. I would prefer our health plan to pay doctors, nurses and physios etc far better rather than 'boutique-ifying' a few centres in upmarket areas. Still, I have to admit that the large, soft, reclining armchairs we all languished in as we waited for our tests were extremely comfortable.

Anyway, that test is now behind me. The doctor asked why my GP had requested it and I had to confess I couldn't remember - that was when we realized that she had actually requested it three years ago! So we decided it must be just a routine checkup.
