Admirable Crighton
After the Newtongrange Gala Day (a sort of Village Fete on steroids, for non-Scottish blippers) I took young Adam to his next gig, a rehearsal and evening concert at Crighton Collegiate Chapel, Pathhead, nr Edinburgh.
You can try enlarging, but this is cropped to within an inch of its life!
I have never been there before and was impressed by the beautiful setting, and amazing accoustic in the tiny church.
This is the ruined Crighton Castle (number two in my occasional series 'Tools of Local Taxation in Scotland') seen from the Chapel graveyard.
I had thought of some lame rather good Red Dwarf references and was about to launch into a routine in the car, when Euphette subtly reminded me that Adam's surname is Crichton. Oops!
