Ringstead Bay

I finally plucked up courage to climb the new ladder from the eastern end of Ringstead Beach on to the Smuggler's Path that goes up to the coastguard cottages on White Nothe. Last year I considered the slope above the ladder too slippery to risk, but this time after dry weather it was fine. The path hadn't been used very much since the old ladder got washed away in the 2013/14 storms but was still passable.
