Lingering Mist

The mist cleared late last night and we had a lovely calm early morning.  I woke up to a horrible day of rain, rain and more rain but it finally cleared at teatime and now come a lovely night with sunshine.

I had a brilliant time at the wedding last night and that lead to a lazy start to the day today :) 
After lunch, me and mam went round to see aunt Binnie again, with some of her old photos on a memory stick that I scanned for her.  We had a great afternoon with her and loved looking at the old photos and hearing the stories behind them. 
Due to staff shortages at the pub, I ended up working tonight but just a few hours and now back home.  Just some walkies with Sammy and then the feet will be up for the night :)

The weather this summer seems to be at it's best in the late evenings and early mornings.  Walking back from the wedding, the mist had lifted but still lingered in the distance over Trondra and parts of Scalloway. Looking across the Scalloway harbour and towards the castle, the mist was slowly disappearing but gave plenty of atmosphere :)
