Optimism

Despite the rain during the early morning through to early afternoon we decided to go ahead with the BBQ planned for the boys coming back from Scout camp.
As the weather forecast promised it cleared up around 1500 and the sun even managed to shine.
I didn't think about a blip until we were already eating so took one of the fire pit and small BBQ that we use.
I did the burning cooking and took the credit but it was Marlane that did all the preparation for Coleslaw, Potato Salad, Devilled Eggs, Salsa, marinading of meats etc....... She did it all while I was out at the Armed Forces Day even yesterday.
She really is good.
