Life through the lens...

By ValC

Early evening shadows.

After a dull day we have a beautiful sunny evening.
I love the light at this time of day.
Up late, and then a lazy morning spent reading the papers ( yesterday's Yorkshire Post supplements)
Made up for it this afternoon, by gardening.
4 bags full of ivy and other shrubs which I have cut back as they were taking over the fences.
After our evening meal it was a quick look round the garden for a suitable blip!
This strange plant is Euphorbia lathyris. One I acquired when visting a garden a few years ago.
It seeds itself every year, and I usually manage to get one seedling to survive.
With the sun low in the sky it throws a lovely shadow on the fence.
Heat wave promised for next week!!
