Loaded beak
I went with the Oxford Photographic Society folks on a trip to the island of Skomer off the south-west coast of Pembrokeshire. Thousands of puffins, and many other seabirds that I could never hope to identify. It's a wonderful place to visit; highly recommended; be prepared for a bit of steep walking, no refreshments and very few home comforts. In return you'll see massive numbers of wild birds, maybe some seals and whales, and shedloads of wild scenery.
I've put a few extra photos up; one of these is of a rescue helicopter, that came swooping in to pick up an injured scuba diver from a dive boat as the ferry took us back to port.
