Strange

We found ourselves having a walk in a new found wood this morning - such adventures!!  The rain stopped before we arrived and during the walk the mist cleared and the sun came through with all sorts of dappled effects as we walked.  Marvellous being in a wood after the rain.

Towards the end of the walk, we came across some plants which are more usually found in cultivated gardens.  One of these was the Californian poppy.  Strange.  Growing wild on a Scottish hillside?  Unlikely.

I think there are horticultural fairies at work.
