Capturing my Journey

By thedoglady

In before the rain

Cuillin bringing in the hoggs to the shed so they stay dry overnight and we can clip them tomorrow. I had already gathered them this morning with all 9 dogs into this wee hill park field. It wasn't too bad getting them in as once I was behind them they all ran for home, only a little bit of confusion when they got in amongst the cows and the calves having not seen sheep before chased them around and back towards me. Managed to get them turned without too many of the dogs trying to help!

After that I set up the shed for clipping and hung wool bags ready for collecting the wool in. Then we brought in the tups, wedders(castrated males) and the assortment of ewes and lambs from their field in front of the house and husband clipped them this afternoon. Glad to finally have made a start on the clipping.

16c  5mph SW dry all day but overcast at times.
