Old brass jug

Not far from where I live is an abandoned pioneer's cottage, next to Skillogalee Creek. I've been told the last person to live there was an artist. The cottage is rough, nothing more than a living room with slate floor and a big fireplace, plus a small laundry. It must have been tough for him living there, especially in the winter. No wonder that fireplace looks well used.
