Wheel of Colour

I had a small lie-in until 8:30ish. It felt like a treat! It was gorgeously sunny and I spent a happy few hours just getting ready, doing jobs and pottering. I do like the mornings at home.

At 12pm I went to mum's and played with Little B. He is always thrilled to see me and crawls into my lap, wagging his tail and trying not to scream :-)

I hung out there for a while. My mum has kindly let me upload my pictures on to her Mac, so that I can process them and Blip. I sent over and hour hogging her computer until I was satisfied I'd done at least a bit if a catch up!

I went to the shops, and as T and I hadn't made firm plans, I took my time. I went to his place at 6:30pm, and he was cooking dinner.I think he was a bit cross I was so late arriving!

We planned to go to the cinema again, this time to see The Longest Ride, which I wanted to see. It was on the small screen, and over two hours, but we had a good time. I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would, but I was still glad we went. It finished at midnight, and we walked through Soho and back to catch the bus. I love how busy and alive it is there, especially on Saturday nights.

The traffic was bad and we would have had to wait ages for the bus, so T suggested we walk over the bridge and catch it on the other side. There was glass and rubbish all over the streets from all the celebrations, and I was wearing flip flops so managed to cut my foot, but I didn't notice until later.

We walked across the Jubilee my bridge, and it was so lovely. I loved doing that last year, and I can't explain the feeling it gives me. I was really happy when I saw the wheel lit up in it's multi-coloured glory.

Just so pretty.

Home by 1am, showered and poor feet tended to!
