Got to take our niece Julia and her friend Beth to the Rodeo with Dan. Bucking Broncos, bull riding, lassoing and all round sexist and ultra patriotic atmosphere gave the girls a taste of what is now mostly a minority culture but in its stronghold of the Fort Worth stockyard Coliseum, still very much alive.
