Wine Country

We left Nice and after a 6 hour drive arrived in Beaune in the heart of Burgundy wine country.

We were looking forward to relaxing after the drive especially as the hotel we were staying at had a pool. Unfortunately just as we were getting close to Beaune we hit a storm and torrential rain put pay to our plans.

Not a great blip but one that signifies which part of France we were in.
