Ice Shelf

In the frozen wastes of Antarctica lies the Ross Ice Shelf, an area of hundreds of square kilometres of metres-deep ice, administered by New Zealand.

This isn't it.

This is a puddle in a farm track.

The ice is almost as thick though.
