Huey's Blues 57

We went out to Huey's to grab dinner. Oh, how I love Huey's! It's one of those extra fancy sorts of joints that encourages you to write on the wall and shoot your toothpicks into the ceiling. At the end of the year they run a contest where you try to guess the number of toothpicks stuck up there, they take them down, count them up, and the winner gets something. The best part is they turn it into a fundraiser, usually for the zoo. You can guess as many times as you want, but each guess is a dollar. Then at the beginning of the year they slap a fresh coat of white on the plaster that clings to the bottom half of the brick wall to clear the way for all the new scribbles, profanity, BFF and together forever claims, and artwork. It's pretty nifty. I've been going there since high school and can only imagine how many of my "listed above"s are buried within that wall. The food is super awesome too! Which as cool as the atmosphere is, the food makes it. My current favorite is the Blues 57 Black Bean Burger. It's a black bean patty with Heinz 57 sauce, blue cheese, crunchy fried onion strings, lettuce, and tomato, served up on bun with a side of steak fries and a pickle spear. Sooo freakin good!
