My birthday cake

Although my birthday was actually on 16th June, I had a small celebration with my friends this weekend because it was the closest free weekend I had. I was working last weekend and I'll be working the next two weekends :(

This is the cake I made for my birthday, a quite stodgy banana, toffee and chocolate cake (one small bit was more than enough!!!). I blew all the candles and I had a great time. Went to bed a bit two late (early in the morning) though, so this is why I'm posting this on Sunday.

If you're curious about my age, count the candles in the extra photo! :)

I haven't been around because I have too many things on at the moment and not much time for photography, so I had to take a break. The thing is, because I'm a bit too fussy about what I post in here, it takes me a while to process the photos and choose one. I could easily take a quick snapshot of something and post it in here without any processing or anything but, because of my arty-fartiness I find it very difficult do that. What can I say, it's the way I am, hahaha! :)

So, taking it easy now and having some time to breathe!
