......which is somehow fitting when you come to think about it.........

Trying to decide whether to go to a 'Peaceful Beach Protest' against the imminent demolition of a stretch of vintage (and very attractive) concrete-but-they-look-like-stone balustrades along the prom (the 'Cooncil' plan on replacing them with ubiquitous wavy metal ones rather than restoring half-a-dozen damaged ones out of more than 400).....but given that I'm a fair-weather protester these days it's a decision currently hanging in the balance......
