Bodnant Garden

I wanted to continue my theme of fountains, and in fact I had a photo ready to blip when we came across this tree in Bodnant Garden in North Wales. This is called an arbutus andrachnoides, also known as an hybrid strawberry tree. It is described by the RHS ".....with attractive peeling cinnamon-brown trunk...."

To me it looks like flesh, and I didn't want to touch it.

I had to give Snowdon a miss today, maybe tomorrow.

I look forward to seeing some blips of the amorphophallus titanum.
