Tongues

Evening all.

I dislike many  things.

My current biggest area of despite is the accepted trend for inspirational words and phrases.

I had a meeting with a possibly very pleasant doctor who was chairing a microsystems meetings for our team at work the other day, and all the o trite new phrases fell like old putty from the stone set squareness of her mouth.

There was blue sky thinking, buzzword, brainstorm, amongst others, and my current personal bête noire:

The car park.

This is apparently an area where ideas which are not currently up for discussion are clumped together on a board until they are needed....

or something.

At this point I took the only sensible action available to me, I got my own car out of the real car park and went home.

Now that is blue sky thinking.
