Waiake Beach

Tiki Tour…This was fun and I got to sit in the bark seat and could watch out the window.
In all the years that The “B’s” have lived in NZ they have not spent time North of Auckland, except The Bossess who was born there but doesn’t remember that bit.
It was a great day and the bays and town (almost city) ships along the coast all have their own charm and the sight of earthworks the size of small towns where housing developments and being built is scary as they are all heavily into the “Little Boxes” designs on a scale often seen overseas but not in NZ until now. This is progress I guess.

Everything went smoothly except the (no name revealed) GPS which The Boss got seriously off side with after it insisted that Whangaporoa was by the airport instead 60 Kms the other way. The Boss swapped to his iPhone and Google Maps and got a seamless experience which would be enough to depress the share value of GPS makers in short order given that Google Maps are free. Word of warning…Having the screen on all the time on a smart phone will drain the battery a little faster so if you are going to do this all day, have a power cord plugged in.
Anyway off to get my beauty sleep as “Light Breaker” is planned for tomorrow.
