I Love Camping!

We took Linden on his first camping trip to Golden Gate Canyon State Park this weekend. We were surrounded by beautiful pine trees in a nice campsite and had wonderful weather. We camped with our Colorado cousins and celebrated Alex's 6th birthday. (See Tara and Alex in the background.) Linden seemed to love all the activity: trying out the camping chairs (including one of Alex's that was just Linden's size), looking at the dirt, rocks and pine needles below, watching the campfire, trying out the slack line (with mommy's help), being inside a tent, and getting attention from family. This photo was taken after the giant birthday cookie was served - Linden appears wired even though he didn't get to have any dessert!
