Murder Mystery...

Today we had planned a day in London to celebrate Josh's birthday. However, when he came home this morning with his girlfriend, he was not in the best of moods and nor was she actually. So when I asked if he still wanted to go, he said not really!!! . . Well, Lucy had come straight home from her school residential in London instead of going back to Cheltenham (and could have been getting ready for her interview on Monday!). Mo had taken the day off (cough,cough..went sick) and Simeon had arranged for his new lady friend to join us. So we decided to still go!

Anyway, I had bought a murder mystery from Treasure Trails, to do around Covent Garden (originally for Lucy's hen do) and we split up into two teams to solve the mystery. Interspersed with a few pub stops, it was a great afternoon of fun and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our little adventure and you get to see bits that you don't normally see or notice.

We popped home to sort Ruby out before going back out for dinner (also planned!!). Food took quite awhile to arrive and I think tiredness started to kick in. All in all it was a lovely day, just a shame Josh missed it.
