Sun-a-rise

As in Rolf Harris that is!

My cold had not gone this morning when I woke up - I think its what you'd call a head cold - and its horrid! So I made myself get up and go for my morning march to walk it off. Went to get in the car and noticed the fantastic sky, drove up to the main road and jumped out the car to snap it - very gorgeous.

Then down to the coast for my usual walk - its about an 8km round trip and very, very busy at the weekends so I like to get out early to avoid the crowds! I never get bored with it - the ocean and clouds are always changing, saw a couple of dolphins playing in the waves today but I dont walk with my camera - mibby I should? (yes that's how I spell it!)

Turned into a rather boring, grey day - Got the weekend papers and sat on the sofa - had a major relapse! Didn't feel like doing anything but I had put a photo into the local Community Arts Exhibition and it was the opening evening - invitation only I may add! So I made an effort.

Arrived and was handed a badge with my name on it and "artist" written underneath - how posh! (Dave did say that he was going to write "piss" in front of it - how very uncouth!) So we mingled with the arty farty people - as you do -some of whom where rather hoity toity as well! Had a vino and wee sausages rolls - which were more popular than the artworks when a plate appeared! Caught up with my lovely neighbour Judy whose face said it all when she looked at the overall prize winner!! A very enjoyable evening.
