Smelly flowers and amazing films

Queued to see the Titan Arum in bloom at the Botanics ... Lyra was not impressed (queuing was boring and hot) but we were rather impressed. Although we have to admit that it looked a bit like a prop from Doctor Who.

Then ended the night at the Back to the Future screening with live accompaniment from the RSNO which was absolutely superb. When the orchestra started playing the tune, it made me well up a bit! Incredible stuff.

Almost didn't make it as our babysitters (in laws) were ill but thankfully my good pal Ciara came to the rescue. Thank you so much again Ciara, we owe you one!
