New Reekie

as it is affectionately known but it's proper title is Amorphophallus Titanum (Giant Misshapen Penis!) and it's in the Glasshouses at Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh. I joined the thronging masses this morning to see it. It is quite impressive but the "rotting flesh" smell was not present. You can read about it here:

Actually I preferred these white poppy heads (see extra) with their tinsel like stripes.
