Every good band needs their Minions !

A trip to Shotts today, to play in their Gala.  I never knew Shotts was so big OR so hilly !

Sun was splitting the skies and it was 'taps aff' for the march.

Loads of floats and support from the crowds, which makes all the difference, and a special chance for Di and Me to renew an old acquaintance with M.  M is a beautful Flugel player who hasn't played in 20 years (bit like myself), and she coped with a march, sight reading the music and no lyre/feather to hold her music amazingly !

Another great day at a very traditional event (even if my feet have blisters now !
