Eastbourne

As the forecast at the south coast was good today we headed that way - to Eastbourne.  Had a lovely walk along the seafront followed by a bacon and egg roll and coffee, then another walk - along the bit of the pier that the fire did not destroy. Next was some time chilling on the beach in the sunshine. We never sit around for long so we then drove to Pevensea Castle, quite close to Eastbourne. Then another drive, across the top of Beachy Head and down first to Burling Gap and then to  to Cuckmere Haven for another walk to the sea. We think we walked about 11 miles today, all in glorious sunshine.
