Chicken pox

Back to the childminder's on Tuesday. Hania had let me know that Nardjess has chickenpox and we thought about it and decided to send him along anyway given it's not too dangerous at his age, and he may not catch it anyway and to be honest partly because making alternative arrangements would have been hard. He'd come back from Italy rather spotty himself which we'd initially put down to insect bites. By the end of the day I decided to drop him into the GP and check - and the Dr figured it probably is chicken pox too given the incubation period and distribution of the spots - though they still don't look quite right - so recommended isolation for the rest of the week. Just as well Nardjess already has it!

Anyway despite the illness he had a pretty good day and after far too long refusing to join in he spent ages playing with play dough - making cakes and putting pasta in them for candles and blowing them out!
