Peony

My next door neighbour has moved into a nursing home, she's been there 7 months or more. The house has just been left with family visiting occasionally to clear bits out and I try to keep the garden under control....sadly it is defeating me at the moment but this peony opened today, so pretty.

My neighbours dementia came on so fast, she is not even 70 yet, I miss her and Maisey her little dog. Maisey is now with her daughter and doing well. Her Cat, Pickle is still here, he is almost feral but is fed by a friend and can still get into the house....you can't get near him to check he's ok but he's certainly looks well enough.

Dementia is a cruel disease.
