Today we did a trial run for the Eurostar station for or trip to Paris on Wednesday. Then travelled on to the area where my forbearer hail from.
We visited Hunton, Burham, Coxheath and Wouldham. None of the dwelling bar one that appear on the census are traceable but the churches still stand. The above is the village of Huntons recreational centre, it was good to see a game of cricket taking place in the sunshine this afternoon. It supports a football club and a bowls club too.
Other news the strange bird call in the lodge grounds has now been tracked to a, so far un captured with the camera, green parakeet or two!
