raindrops on poppy

Drizzly rain on and off until about 6.30pm, just stopping in time for the Whitetops hill race (and the sun actually came out for the second half).
Last year I won the over 60's (not hard as I was the only one!), could I do it again? Looking at the starters I thought I was probably the only one and I was right, so I have another bottle of wine. I thought I was going to be last this year but I overtook someone half way round and gradually increased my lead to finish 22secs slower than last year. Mr Rat was also slower but the results aren't out yet so I don't know if it was just us.
