Top Of The World Energy
We just bought some solar panels and inverter system with four 150 AmpH truck batteries from a family that are leaving Nepal tomorrow.
This will be so good for us (when we find a new place to live) so that not only will we be able to have endless electricity even in the bad periods of load shedding (which can reach up to 18 hours a day of no electricity in the winter), but it should be much cheaper too!
This was my good friend Sean helping me to dismantle the system from the house we bought it off to take and store somewhere while we find a new place to live. Hopefully not to long in the future and I'll have a blip of it being installed!
As high up as this was (four floors plus a roof with another floor I think - didn't want to look down!), this was actually the easy bit. Carrying the four massive batteries down all the stairs was painful!
