Long old day! Worked in the morning then got home to find Steve raring to go! Left for Scotland bang on 12pm in the hopes we would get there for 7ish.

The weather was so bad with the rain and wind and traffic, that we stopped 3 times to swop drivers and take a rest from it. Considering how rubbish it was, we got in for 8pm so not too bad.

Was great seeing mum and we have just all enjoyed being in each others company tonight.

Mum had bought us some gorgeous anniversary pressies - a huge multi vintage frame, a pair of tartan vintage esque cushions and a gorgeous card. So appreciated. So lucky and fortunate.

A very late night talking and catching up properly. It's good to be home.
