Meeka

Is it wrong to love an individual from another species so much? Meeka has been on my life for well over a decade and we didn't always get on so well. Now she is getting that bit older, and has a touch of arthritis in her back end, it sometimes seems like we think as one. I don't mistake her for another person, and certainly not for a child. That would be to think of the relationship as something other than it is. She has a special place in my heart that is all her own.
