Round the Island

Today it was the annual 'Round the Island' race, where over 1700 boats race around the Isle of Wight. It is popular as any sail boat can take part, and we get professional sailors racing against weekend sailor, and also people that are sailing for the first time (as crew on boats). There are also celebrities racing, David Dimbleby, as famous TV Reporter was racing his boat. 

The boats set off at 7am, at first it was really hazy, and my first photos weren't that good, then about 40 minutes later when the smaller boats came through the sun came out. The photos were taken from my bedroom window, how lucky am I to have this view?
